Nike Blazer High (maya blue / black / white)

When you take the first sight of them, you may probably marvel at its exquisite design, simple and fresh color way of black and light blue. Such cool color matching make you associate of the resplendent start-sky as well as the soft cloud in the heaven.

Nike Blazer instantly became a pioneer in footwear when it was released in 1973. Taking its name from the Portland Trail Blazers; as Nike’s first hoop shoe, it proved worthy of its name. At the time, The Nike Blazer was a welcome departure from its more clunky counterparts. The Nike Blazer’s simple design soon became de rigueur on and off the court and in recent times has been embraced by other cultures, including skaters – a point not lost in Carry’s creative process. The Nike Blazer’s adoption within the skate community made this the perfect shoe for the project. The colors reference the faded neon’s of eighties skate culture.

This Nike Blazer adopt woolen materials, the blue Nike logo can be visible on the body of the kick. The blue lace looks so striking by compare with the black upper of the shoes. I must admit, when you first see these Blazers you may be turned off by the color combo, but after taking time to inspect the upper with its intricate tattoo like patterns and the cool blue-black swoosh that hits you slam bam in the face, you begin to appreciate the form of the shoe and its "ugly duckling" appeal.

More about Nike Blazers will be continued.
