    Air Jordan 3

Immediately following The Air Jordan two, Tinker Hatfield who is one of the most notable figures in sneaker enterprises brought in another kind of sneaker The Air Jordan 3. This kind of sneaker is the first type of Air Jordan which employs the new style for the sneaker by adding a transparent air unit on the heel which is now very popular. Therefore it is suitable for us to regard The Air Jordan 3 as the cradle of this trendy design on the heel of the sneakers.

The Air Jordan 3 became famous for a very successful advertising program which was nicknamed as "Mars and Mike" ad campaign. In this ad campaign a popular film star Spike Lee was painted on the ads in a humorous way by making him into Mars Blackmon who an imaginative figure of the film She's Gotta Have It played by Spike Lee. This ad campaign made The Air Jordan 3 star in the field of sneakers, which was regarded as the most successful advertisement campaigns that Nike had ever launched. The Air Jordan 3 are also the avant-garde in the filed of making the first jordans which take the "NIKE AIR" logo on the back of the sneaker. It was a common practice for The Air Jordan 3 at that time.

Nowadays those a little out-dated design has been substituted by the jump man logo. However modern sneakers take the word "AIR" under the jump man logo in some reminiscent way. Even the most fabulous the Air Jordan VI which is also designed by artist Tinker Hatfield follows the design of those modern sneakers. Fortunately we heard about that Michael Jordan liked The Air Jordan 3 the best, he took The Air Jordan 3 as his apple of eye which helped him won the game during the 1988 Dunk Championship as well as many other tournaments.

Unfortunately, The Air Jordan 3 was coldly treated when it was retroed in the beginning of the 1990s. It is reported that The Air Jordan 3 sold at an unbelievable low price at that time. Those retroed The Air Jordan threes were happy when they were retroed again. To be more specific, those re-retroed The Air Jordan threes sold very well when they were launched. Although it was expensive, those sneaker hunters especially the Air Jordan die-hard would never spare a penny for a pair of the Air Jordan 3 model. It is said that those Air Jordan threes would cost you more than 299.99 dollars. One model in the Air Jordan 3 pack was launched in the first month in 2008 whose birth was expected for a long time. It is our lovely "Fire Red". Instead of taking the "NIKE AIR" logo which was set on the back of the former Air Jordan 3 sneaker, modern Nike sneakers will take the Jump man logo. For example, recent Air Jordan models like the "Black cats" or the "Pure moneys $'s." are tagged with the Jumpman logo on the back of the sneaker.

With the development of the Nike, Jordan brand becomes more and more popular in the sneaker industry. In the light of the former successful ad campaign of The Air Jordan 3, Jordan brand shows its eager to cooperate with the famous director Spike Lee, aiming to publicize the Air Jordan 3's in a special way. It is reported that Jordan brand and Spike Lee will work together to bring us a new funny sneaker which will be produced by imitating the color scheme of the Do The Right Thing movie poster in 2007. In the same year, Nike decided to employ the same color scheme like those retroed Air Jordan threes and manufactured the "Black Cats" and the "Pure $," which we have mentioned the former part. Also in this special year, Nike produced another kind of sneaker model named as "Flips" by implementing a series of innovation on the "Flipping". As we know, those "Flippings" are made from white leather decorating by elephant print trim. Those former elephant print trim was removed from "Flippings". As a matter of fact, The sole and midsole of those sneakers some extent those sneakers own a debt to Spike Lee for many of them gain publicity by mocking a character Mars Blackmon- in the film She's Gotta Have It which was directed by Spike Lee.

More about Nike Air Jordan 3 will be continued.
