After the second retirement from the NBA of Jordan, the first Air Jordan model had released on the market. With the similarity as the Air Jordan IX, the first Air Jordan model is the only shoes which have not used as the Jordan shoes. Expect for the shoes beautiful style, the fans also concerned about whether the shoes are comfortable enough.

It is said that this model was the last work designed by Tinker Hatfield. Later, he would turn to other design of the Air Jordan XX model. However, the release of the Air Jordan model were not enjoy the great popularity, for the reason that the poor performance and the common style of the shoes.

Taken the inspiration from the futuristic X-15 fighter jet which was developed by NASA during the 1950’s, the Air Jordan 15 have the unique style. The tongue of the shoe stuck out parallel to the ground. Such design has made the public wonder if they are resemble to the Jordan’s famous facial expression while soaring through the air.

With the red strip on the back of the shoes and at the bottom of the shoes, the Air Jordan 15 make the wearer more comfortable and at the same time make the shoes more fashionable. While such design also make the public thought whether the shoes feature are taken the inspiration from the signature stripe on Prada shoes. The original woven upper also inspired by the Italian designers. It is said that the Air Jordan 15 was the last shoes that designed by Tinker Hatfield at the current time. This Air Jordan 15 can not compare with the brilliant performance made by the Air Jordan 3.

The Air Jordan 15 didn’t receive the great popularity when they are released on the market. At the same time, they are not the slip-on moccasins. It is the first time that the Jordan shoes’ release comes out in the failure. However, the designers are all want to make the second shoes in the similar style named the Air Jordan 17.
